Old Boars

Dear Old Boars,

In an effort to recruit & retain university students to play for the Club, we have established two scholarships through the CSU Foundation.

We are putting the call out to all past players & supporters to make a donation to the CSU Foundation to directly support the scholarship. In return for your support, you will receive:

A membership pass to all home games
A season fixture card
Regular updates via email including news & results
Invitation to our Old Boars Day
Opportunities to buy Club merchandise and tickets in our major raffle

The CSU Foundation is a non-profit entity endorsed as an Income Tax Exempt Charity, so carries Deductible Gift Recipient status. All donations above $2.00 are tax deductible.

The scholarship value will be $2000 and open to any students studying full time at the Wagga campus, with preference given to first or second year students. More information on our Accommodation and Foundation Scholarships can be found on the CSU website.

The Club would like to build the support of the Old Boars in the years ahead to create a number of scholarships and will look to recognise each decade of the club with a scholarship and also expand to offering it to netballers, who have played an important part in the Club’s history.

To support the Club and donate to the scholarship, all you need to do is:

Go to “CSUgive”
Select your payment option – Credit Card / Paypal / Direct Debit / Cheque
Select “CSU Bushpigs Scholarship Fund” from the “Campaign” drop down menu
Enter your details and in the comments section, include the years that you played for the Club

If you have a business and would like to discuss a corporate donation and/or sponsorship opportunities, please do not hesitate to contact our President, Harry Unthank, on 0407 055 206 or email csufootballnetballclub@gmail.com

I encourage you pass this request onto fellow Old Boars, in the hope of utilising our vast network to push the Club’s success along. Also if you know of any players moving to Wagga for university, encourage them to apply for the scholarship and let the Club know so we can follow up with them.
